But no matter what, our core stays the same because your core is who you are. Those who have grown with you, know you. Maybe even better than you know yourself. They know what’s REAL and what’s fake. They feel your true emotions through your eyes. They know the genuine in your smile, in your laughter. But now you’re strangers side by side.

We’re out of touch, out of mind, we accept just OK.

As life goes on, I can only hope I stay real to who I am. I pray my soul is never content with just OK. My heart may have been hurt over and over, but I beg it will never settle just because my current was better than my last. Please keep my mind healthy, flowing with new ideas and never ending horizons.

I ask the same for you. I ask that you open your eyes, your heart and your mind and truly discover who you are meant to be. The life you pictured years ago is still waiting for you. Awaken your desire for what you really want out of life. Take off the blind fold and stop bull-shitting yourself. Time waits for no one and you’re wasting precious seconds accepting what you really don’t want. Pretending can only go on for so long. Fooling yourself will only get you so far.
