Geez, 2018 is almost over

We’re already in October. Where did 2018 go?! I’m already getting emails about filing your taxes. Open enrollment is the around the corner.

Hmmm…Venus in retrograde… I feel a massive push to reassess my finances.

  • I wanna make sure I stay completely debt free for the rest of the year (no credit card debt, loans of any kind).
  • Eliminate any unnecessary spending (do you really need cable, Netflix and Hulu?).
  • Check to make sure I’m getting the best pricing for current plans and policies I have now (car insurance, renters insurance, cell phone plan etc.)

BBMAs 2017

Exhausted. Shuttles suck. If you’re coming to Vegas, get a taxi. Cut the wait time in the scorching sun and not worry about whether they show up or not. Then you call the number on your ticket and you can’t even understand the monotone person on the other line. Just be sure to have cash instead of paying that 3 dollar credit fee for a taxi.

Anyways. I’m finally settled at my gate. Trips are always fun but the end is always dreadful. Looking forward to home.

Let’s talk BBMAs. Amazing experience but nothing like on TV. I always thought it was this super glamorous event. Not really. Fans wore an array ofΒ outfits, lol. If you ever go, cute is good. Glamorous is always fun. Casual, that’s OK as well (why go to an award show if you don’t wanna be on fleek???).

Speaking fleek. Nicki Minaj…YES, YES. Opened with No Frauds. Lite. Closed with Regret In Your Tears. That made me a little sad πŸ˜”

Drake??? Anyone physically at that fountain show, I’m so jealous!!! Epic show. His speech about showing love, yes! Happy the trio is back.

Sam Hunt, he’s just so cute. Sang my song 😁

Halsey, her voice is so good live. Flawless.

Saved the best for last. Camila Cabello. I’ve seen her grow so much. The girl is so coming into her light. Her confidence is shining through. She’s only getting better and better. I just heard I have Questions this morning. The lyrics cut. She wanted to write and sing relatable music. This is definitely that.

Her team is one awesome team. The performance was not cookie cutter. Geez even her music video for Crying In The Club was top-notch. It’s obvious they believe in her and they’re not holding back. Promoting the hell out of her. Album is set to release in September. Anticipation. That’s so far away.

I think the only other person I’m waiting on is Taylor Swift. She’s making music….. … ..more waiting. Forgot Nicki! SomethingΒ is coming 😁

Overall it was a great experience. A must for the music lovers. The seats up high run about $160, plus other charges come to around $190. But they aren’t bad. You just can’t dance. Or be drunk. It’s not safe πŸ˜‚ It’s worth the money. Would I do it again? No. I enjoy it much more in the comfort of my own home. No one chattering in my ear. No smelly people and no one blocking my view. Oh, there’s some false advertising. They make it seem like certain artists are there but truly not. Satellite performances are OK at home. Not at an actual show.

I think that’s it. Bucket list βœ”

Getting JLo ready πŸ˜

So the day has finally come. I’ve been in love with Jennifer Lopez since I was 14 and I’ve never seen her in concert. Hell, I’ve never come within a mile of her. Finally, I get to see her up close and as personal as it will ever get πŸ˜‚ I couldn’t have picked a better venue to see her. A Vegas show is perfect. This is definitely top 3 on my bucket list. Nothing lavish or ridiculous, lol … I don’t think I need too much to be happy.Β I just want to connect to the things that are near and dear to my heart. Summer nights, good food, good company and good music… I’m happy 😁 Oh, ocean views too of course. So JLo, I am so thankful you entered my life πŸ˜‚ Your charm and grace is breathtaking. A successful, hardworking – worldwide woman who stays so freaken humble! I adore you and can’t wait to be in your presence!!! image
